Legend of the Douge

In 1898 Douglas Moonicus had the idea to start the worlds first blockchain with nothing more than block and chain. Nearly 125 years later his original concept has become Telos. Before leaving Earth for his new life on the moon, Douglas Moonicus left hidden puzzles within the Telos blockchain. These puzzles lead to a wallet containing ancient Dougecoins. The first person to solve the puzzle chain through each of the 4 Epochs will be able to piece together the private key that unlocks the Dougecoin Treasure Trove!

From the release date there will be 10,000 Dougecoin NFTs living on the Telos blockchain. You will need to quickly stash one of these to gain access into the game! The NFTs will soon be available to mint through the website for 30 Telos and the proceeds from these sales will be used to reward the winner of the game, enhance the value of Dougecoin and fund future community projects.

The game will take place over 4 epochs and players will need to achieve certain goals in order to progress:

 

 

 

1st Epoch:

 

To enter the game players will need to hold a Dougecoin NFT in their wallet

 

 

 

2nd Epoch:

 

To access puzzles from the second Epoch players will need to

 

hold a Dougecoin NFT in their wallet and

 

own a minimum of $500 in Dougecoin.

 

 

 

3rd Epoch:

 

To access puzzles from the third Epoch players will need to

 

hold a Dougecoin NFT in their wallet,

 

own a minimum of $500 in Dougecoin and

 

provide $100 liquidity on Sushiswap for the Douge/Tlos pair

 

 

 

4th Epoch:

 

To access puzzles from the final Epoch players will need to

 

hold a Dougecoin NFT in their wallet,

own a minimum of $500 in Dougecoin,

 

provide $100 liquidity on Sushiswap for the Douge/Tlos pair and

 

sacrifice 25m Douge to the

0x000 burn address

The NFTs will be available to mint within the next seven days and the puzzles from the 1st Epoch will be released during the first week of December. Once all 10,000 NFTs have sold, 75,000 Tlos worth of Douge will be burned. 45,000 Tlos worth of Douge will be distributed as community rewards. 30,000 Tlos worth of Douge will be used to fund future inititives such as DougeSwap. 150,000 Tlos worth of Douge will go into the Telos Treasure Trove.

What happens if nobody is able to solve the puzzles?

​

 If the puzzles are too hard, we will hold a community vote to see whether or not to drop hints. If we do drop hints, they will be announced on both our Twitter page and our telegram chat.

When will the Dougecoin treasure hunt be released?

​

Puzzles from the 1st Epoch will be released during the first week of December. The exact date will be released shortly. Epoch 2, 3 and 4 will then be released periodicly every few  weeks.

What does this mean for Dougecoin holders?

Through the Dougecoin treasure hunt we hope to attract new members from other Networks to join in the fun! The tokenomics will promote sustained holding of Dougecoin and bring in new liquidity providers which will help sustain the growth of Dougecoin.
